==GLOBAL RULES==
Ruling 0: Exceptional situations may justify exceptional solutions
Ruling 1: Media containing children, zoophelia, gore, DOST, and context
Rule 1 broadly disallows posting pictures of underage people or animals in any sort of lewd or lascivious context, or from trying to change the context of an otherwise innocent pic into something lewd with the addition of other content. Pictures or other media containing real children or animals may not be posted on the site other than good faith content which contains no lewd, violent, or sexually exploitive material. Global moderators may use their own discretion concerning removals and bans for such material.
Ruling 2: Public admission of illegal activity
Content in which a user admits to knowingly carrying out serious IRL crimes may be removed at staff's individual discretion. Generally this is based on whether there is a good faith belief that the admission could be genuine and whether the alleged crime in question is serious. Admission of crimes related to sexual abuse will be removed with prejudice.
Ruling 3: Antagonistic communities
Spurda reserves the right to remove and ban boards, threads, and communities if they are outright hostile to foreign or neighboring communities that mind their own business on Spurda. Failure or negligence in moderating your board will subject you to reassignment or removal based on the circumstances at hand. Spurda wants to give everyone a fair chance to become a part of Spurda, but at the same time due to the focus of what we want to do with Spurda, we cannot tolerate content that is made to gatekeep or keep the website in its own hivemind.
Ruling 4: DMCA takedowns and responses
The site will remove content that is claimed under the DMCA as required by law. This will generally be done within 72 hours of receiving a DMCA notice. Please contact us here [email TBA]
Ruling 5: Spam
Unless specified by the Board Owner themselves, Spurda does not allow mass spam among its communities. Spam is always considered a dual Board+Global matter because it affects the site's main page and could potentially harm discovery of other boards. Please do not spam on Spurda's boards unless specified by the Board Owner.
Ruiling 6: Calls for violence and extremism
Calling for or supporting violence and extremist stances are prohibited by the Global Rules. Additionally posting extremely suspicious content that is materially related to severe illegal activity such as shootings, bombings, assassinations, murder, or terrorism, or content which admits to planning or attempting the same is also banned. Restrictions may take on the form of temporary content bans on sharing media such as manifestos or videos to limit such malicious persons from effectively utilizing this site to glorify themselves. Such actions are not intended to interfere with normal user discussions of such events.
Ruling 7: Doxing and harassment
The posting of public personal information with intent to harass or bully is forbidden by the Global Rules, unless granted permission by the party in question. Additionally the doxing of site staff, board owners, and volunteers is prohibited as "harm to the site" under Global Rule 3. We want to create a website where people are able to critique topics and subjects as much as possible, but also have fun while doing so. Going after individuals in attempt to defame or attack them is seen as a violation of Rule 3 and will result in a removal and a sitewide ban.
Ruiling 8: Board Ownership and User Accounts
Board Ownership and User Accounts are granted and maintained at the discretion of the site administration. Severe abuse, neglect, or mishandling of your board, its rules, or its users may result in its loss or reassignment. Spurda hopes to maintain a beneficial relationship between the administation and the Board Owners.
Ruling 9. Do not post NSFW material on SFW marked boards unless it is spoilered
As this is a site made with a broader focus than what's currently on other imageboards, we ask all users to keep NSFW content behind a spoiler on SFW boards, and that underage users agree NOT to open spoilered images without their parents permission. If you are found to be underage and are posting on a board that is marked NSFW, you will be banned from posting on said boards with your content removed as a result.
Ruling 10: Paid content
We hope to share revenue generated from advertisements and subscriptions services with Board Owners that raise enough funds or are popular enough among the website. If a user or a board has repeadedly violated any of the global rules we reserve the right to terminate funding and the accounts of said groups or indivduals.
Finally. I want to note that while Spurda isn't a free speech site like 8chan.moe, we do not wish to discriminate against our userbase for any reason. We are similar to both Discord and X when it comes to policy. This project aims to redefine the imageboard experience and what we can do with imageboards. We look forward to seeing this project bear fruit when the time is right.
Thank you for using Spurda.
testing the front page my putting more text then necessary since the last two threads had some text but said text didn't properly show up.
Today, Attorney General Pamela Bondi released the following statement:
“Luigi Mangione’s murder of Brian Thompson — an innocent man and father of two young children — was a premeditated, cold-blooded assassination that shocked America. After careful consideration, I have directed federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty in this case as we carry out President Trump’s agenda to stop violent crime and Make America Safe Again.”
As alleged, Luigi Mangione stalked and murdered UnitedHealthcare executive Brian Thompson on Dec. 4, 2024. The murder was an act of political violence. Mangione’s actions involved substantial planning and premeditation and because the murder took place in public with bystanders nearby, may have posed grave risk of death to additional persons.
Following federal murder charges handed down on Dec. 19, 2024, Attorney General Bondi has now directed Acting U.S. Attorney Matthew Podolsky to seek the death penalty in this case.
This is in line with Attorney General Bondi’s Day One Memo as Attorney General entitled
Reviving The Federal Death Penalty And Lifting The Moratorium On Federal Executions
Do threads stack yet or are we still working on that, lol.
President Donald Trump announced he had “an extremely productive call” with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Friday as a tariff exemption for Canadian goods under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) is set to expire on April 2.
Trump took to Truth Social to share he spoke with Carney Friday morning.
“It was an extremely productive call, we agree on many things, and will be meeting immediately after Canada’s upcoming Election to work on elements of Politics, Business, and all other factors, that will end up being great for both the United States of America and Canada,” Trump wrote.
>I just finished speaking with Prime Minister Mark Carney, of Canada. It was an extremely productive call, we agree on many things, and will be meeting immediately after Canada’s upcoming Election to work on elements of Politics, Business, and all other factors, that will end up being great for both the United States of America and Canada. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Trump did not dive into deep specifics of the call, which comes as 25 percent tariffs on Canadian and Mexican goods under the USMCA agreement loom. Trump paused the tariffs under the agreement on March 6, as the White House indicated the countries were cooperating more with security at the borders they share with the United States, Breitbart News noted.
“They’ve been working much harder lately, do you notice that? On people coming in and drugs,” Trump said in an Oval Office press conference at the time.
Friday’s call comes as Carney, the Liberal Party leader who succeeded former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau earlier this month, said Thursday that the “old relationship” between Canada and the United States is over.
“The old relationship we had with the United States, based on deepening integration of our economies and tight security and military cooperations, is over,” Carney said. “What exactly the United States does next is unclear, but what is clear… is that we as Canadians have agency, we have power.”
As Carney succeeded Trudeau due to Trudeau’s resignation, he was mandated to call a snap election. He is facing off against Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre in the contest, which is set for April 28.
No Nazi/Commie shit here, just good ol' fashion LIBERTY.
